Exhibition
The exhibition «Memory of an Elegant Woman» that I designed with the scientific collaboration of the Palais Galliera, the fashion museum of the city of Paris, pays tribute to Françoise PETIT, who worked for more than forty years for two prestigious french fashion houses : Lanvin and Chanel.
Through Françoise's story, the exhibition highlights the profession of the first saleswoman in Parisian Haute Couture houses and the golden age of Haute Couture from 1920 to 1970. The itinerary reveals her fashion archives including photos of Lanvin models, photos of Frères Séeberger, fashion magazines, jewelry, work clothes, evening dresses, handbags and shoes.
