Fashion historian with a first-half-century specialty, I have been speaking for more than ten years in Parisian museums as a professional lecturer guide. I am keen to pass on my knowledge through visits and lectures for a wide audience (individuals, schools, works council).
In addition, I designed the exhibition “Memory of an Elegant Women” with the scientific collaboration of the Palais Galliera, the fashion museum of the city of Paris. It was first presented in November 2023, in the town hall of the 16th arrondissement of Paris. This exhibition highlights the profession of the first saleswoman in the couture houses Lanvin and Chanel, from the 1920s to the 1970s.
Moreover, I own and value a private archival fonds that traces 50 years of fashion history and more particularly Lanvin and Chanel. It consists of photographs, documents, correspondences, rare items and textile parts.
I also do expert advice to individuals. This is a real personalised support including several steps: sorting of an existing cloakroom, alterations, buying clothes, in a responsible and sustainable approach. In this regard, any purchase is made in a reasoned manner and only when it has real added value.
